►►Cameroon has taken a bold step toward becoming a regional powerhouse in sustainable development and tourism. The Ministry of Tourism and Leisure, in collaboration with Impex Trading SARL and the RD Congo Investment Fund S.A., has entered into a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating sustainable development and boosting regional ecotourism. The parties have officially launched the ambitious Ndollè City project in Sikoum-Dibamba,in the Littoral Region.

Afrique54.net » The agreement, of a Public-Private partnership of historic scale has been finalized on August 29th 2025, securing a massive investment of 6,500 billion CFA francs (approximately $10.7 billion USD). This funding, sourced entirely from private investors, marks the final stage of financial mobilization for the project, which is part of the World Dream Investment (WDI) initiative, a Pan-African development platform.

 Cameroon’s Strategic Location

Cameroon sits at the crossroads of West and Central Africa, offering a unique geographic advantage. Ndollè City aims to capitalize on this, by transforming Sikoum-Dibamba into a self-sustaining, digital and ecotourism city projected to attract over 5 million tourists annually.

Ndollè City, a vision for the Future

Spanning 1,500 hectares, Ndollè City is designed to be A tech and tourism hub for Africa a model of green urban development, with smart infrastructure and ecological design, a catalyst for inclusive growth, generating over 2 million direct and indirect jobs over a 7-year development timeline

The project enjoys the High Patronage of the President of the Republic and is overseen by the Prime Minister. A strategic interministerial committee has been established to facilitate administrative processes and ensure smooth implementation. Construction, according to sources, is expected to begin before the end of 2025, with phased delivery over seven years.

Ndollè City represents a transformative vision for Cameroon, one that blends innovation, sustainability, and international appeal. As part of the National Development Strategy 2030, this project could position Sikoum-Dibamba as a pan-African gateway and a global destination for digital and ecological tourism.
